Amalie Emmy Noether was born on March 23, 1882 year. She died on April 14, 1935 year. She was a German mathematician and physicist.
In the years 1922-1933 she was a professor at the University of Göttingen. However, because of her Jewish ancestry had to go under pressure from the Nazis.
She became famous thanks to advances in the theory of rings and development of a new branch of mathematics – abstract algebra.
From her name comes from the name of the concept of the ring and the name of the theorem noetherowskiego Lasker-Noether.
