Samsung follows the path of Volkswagen. The European Commission will check whether the company deceived by testing energy consumption – GazetaPrawna.pl

The Guardian indicates that the issue has confirmed the research group ComplianTV. It has tested the Samsung TVs in ordinary conditions in which they are used by a consumer. And it turned out that the energy consumption is much larger than that declared by the manufacturer.

Why?

As explained in the British press, most likely this is due to the technology used “motion lighting,” which serve It is saving electricity. In certain moments, when it will not disturb the recipient, the screen dims, and thus, the TV uses less energy.

The problem is that ComplianTV determined that the device Samsung detected the test materials used in formal studies , by which TV still worked in the energy-saving mode. In everyday use, while in this mode, they work quite rare.

In the near future matter should be addressed by the European Commission, whose task will be to first determine whether in fact the energy consumption in everyday use Samsung TVs is higher than declared by the manufacturer.
