Xing Lida, a paleontologist from China, found amber in Burma (Myanmar) at… exhibition. Merchants wanted to sell it as decoration. They believed that inside is a leaf of some plants. Specialist quickly realized that preserved in the amber of the remains belong to a dinosaur. Lida bought, so the fossilized resin, and together with the Canadian researcher Ryan McKellarem was subjected to its analysis.

the researchers found that the tail belonged to celurozaura, animal from the same group as the Tyrannosaurus, but much less from them. It was about the size of a Sparrow.

In amber found a bone fragment and feathers – most likely it is with them, not scales, were covered with dinosaurs.
