Taiwanese manufacturer of mobile systems MediaTek has decided to expand its offer two more models with higher shelves. the Helio X23 and Helio X27 is an updated version of its flagship processors Helio X20 and X25, which provide higher performance, but waited for improvements in the field of camera and efficiency.
Both are based on 20-nm technological process and use the preferred by MediaTek 3-klastrową configuration 10 cores, where we have two high-performance Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A53. CPU Helio X27 is a clock frequency max. clock frequency of 2.6 GHz, and GPU Mali-T880 running at 875 MHz. Due to the higher częstotliwościom to ensure it has 20% higher performance compared to Helio X25. In Helio we get X23 in turn, clocked at 2.3 GHz and GPU 780 MHz, which translate to a similar increase in performance relative to the Helio X20.
in addition, the new processor has an updated image processor Imagiq C (in particular, the double detection phase), which translates to higher image quality and support for dual cameras. X27 and X23 support a resolution of WQXGA 2560×1600 pixels at 60 frames per second and 1920×1080 pixels at 120 frames per second.
Novelty is to implement technology MiraVision EnergySmart Screen that is responsible for intelligent power saving – so you can save up to 25% of energy consumption across the screen. The creators mention Envelope Tracking Module provides an automatic equalization of voltage and signal strength, transfer has, in turn, 15% less energy consumption.
MediaTek outed in the near future the market should see the first smart phones on these processors.
