Experts estimate that within a few years in the hands of consumers will be tens of millions of sets of VR. Companies producing this type of device will therefore be able to count on big profits, provided that their equipment will be sufficiently attractive.
Samsung for some time now offers a device called Gear VR, which recently live to see the second generation. However, this product is far less useful than Oculus Rift VR or the PlayStation, it does not work without a smartphone. It is in fact a simple case of lenses, so the user must still spend almost 3,000 zlotys on your phone model, which deals with the calculation and display the image. Such a solution does not encourage the purchase, so Samsung began work on an independent set of VR.
Korean media reports, Samsung’s engineers are working on a new set of VR, which is no longer just an add-on smartphone and function is completely alone. For now, the technical details are not yet known, but the media mention that the product will go on sale next year, so you can bet that will be shown in January at CES in Las Vegas.
