This season, the upward trend is maintained. On Wednesday, July 1, at the station on the corner of ul. Since the emergence of two-wheelers rental in Warsaw in 2012, the number of all car rental has already exceeded well over five million. – This year once again we enter the peak season, road bikes, being able to boast of consecutive records. Our users never cease to surprise us, twirling, and it certainly very good results last season – says Tomasz Wojtkiewicz, President Nextbike Polish network operator of urban rental-wheelers.

– We are particularly pleased that still manages to persuade thousands more users to join the family in Warsaw cycling. This year alone, these new people are more than 50,000 – Wojtkiewicz added.

The total number of all registered Veturilo users in the system is already 343 844 people. This season the average rental period is approx. 27.5 minutes. Daily record lending took place on April 11, when the bike reaches almost 16,000 times (last year: 25 April – 14 142). Most active cyclist of the season has now account more than 650 rentals, which means that it uses the Veturilo an average of 5-6 times a day, both on weekdays as well as weekends.

Most stations loans are: al. Independence / Batory, roundabout Washington / National Stadium, Metro University / roundabout Polish Cavalry, ul. Banach / University of Warsaw, University Square / ul. Nowowiejska. Also in the first four bikes locations most often found itself at the forefront station also still at the Arkadia shopping center.

In turn, the most popular routes are: al. Independence / Batory – ul. Banach / University of Warsaw (in both directions), ul. Marymoncka / Dewajtis – UKSW II (also in both directions) and al. KEN / Metro Natolin – ul. Wąwozowa- al. KEN / Metro Kabaty.

Veturilo Bicycles are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In accordance with the tariff fixed by the municipal councilors, 20-minute bike hire is free, and another 40 minutes costs zloty. For the second hour of cycling will pay 3 zł, and for the third – 5 zł. Each additional hour costs 7 zł.
