Kodak has officially unveiled its new smartphone – model Ektra. The device is designed for people who appreciate high quality workmanship and good quality of images shot with your smartphone.

the name of the equipment refers to the analog camera, which appeared in stores in the 40-ies of the last century. Production of the new smartphone Kodak involved in the company Bullitt, which also produces components for Cata if such brands as Land Rover. In the middle of the model Ektra was a place for CPU MediaTek Helio X-20 and 32 gigabytes of internal memory which can be expanded via memory cards. Of photography and multimedia users will be able to look at 5-inch display. A little, but it’s the perfect proportion between a large and a medium size device.

On the rear panel of the Kodak Ektra is, however, that the photographers will have the greatest plans: we are talking of course, about 21-megapixel camera sensor. Unfortunately, it is not known how she copes with the shooting modes, but the first sample available in the network show a good quality. In case, however, it is necessary to wait for the test results made using DxO Mark to be able to say something more about the item.

Kodak Ektra, unfortunately, don’t go to mass selling. The device will be available only for the chosen people: the Kodak understands that will not sell millions of units worldwide. Model Ektra was estimated at 499 € and will be available in December. So far only in Europe.
