This is two times more than in 1975. According to the authors of the publication, in 2014, 641 million of the 5 million adults were obese. In the 9 years it will have 1.1 billion people. In the 2,025 years because of high weight will suffer 20 percent of the adult population.

The Lancet points out that in 1975 only 3.2 percent of men wrestled very overweight. In 2014, it was already close to 11 percent. Among women, the increase is equally dynamic – from 6.4 percent to 14.9 percent.
