Throughout Friday at the Department of Biology, University of Szczecin could participate in workshops and demonstrations during the Night of Biologists.
Students from schools and all interested in biology laboratories visited, participated in workshops, lectures and demonstrations organized by the university.
One of the biggest attractions is the exhibition of a dozen species of live insects and arachnids tropical terrarium, m. al. mantis, tarantula and liśćców and containers arranged exhibition featuring several species of carnivorous plants.
At the workshop in the laboratory the teenagers were examining the DNA on the basis of your own hair. They could also determine the blood group and look at under a microscope to what is imperceptible to the human eye, and extremely interesting.
In one of the rooms can also be seen specimens of different kinds of fungi, including those poisonous.
Unfortunately, this year ran snakes that always attracted wide interest children.
