Pluto flyby will be automated. Nobody will see him “live” because the probe is too far away from Earth. Besides all the energy and computing power of the instrument are set to take measurements. Their results will not be sent on a regular basis.
Why New Horizons Pluto’s only pass, we will not enter its orbit?
Several pictures of you posted on July 16th. Those that New Horizons will perform during its closest approach, are expected July 20. The remaining material will be sent only in mid-September.
