Samsung will bring to CES a curved monitor Quantum Dot – FrazPC.pl

Samsung, like most other technology companies, is preparing for CES, which starują next week. The Korean giant decided, however, to boast that they are bringing to Las Vegas, and, at least in the field of monitors, which were prepared “for gamers.”

the exhibition will feature a model of CH711, which uses the technology of quantum dots (Quantum Dot). This feature a curved screen (radius of curvature 1800R) available in two sizes: 27 and 31.5 inches. In both cases, we can count on WQHD (2560×1400 pixels), wide viewing angles (178°) and up to 125% coverage of the sRGB color palette. Samsung boasts in addition, here, “an incredibly vivid picture, regardless of viewable content”. I should add that CH711 cables hidden in the stand, making it easier to rotate it into portrait mode, but to use it so badly curved screen may not be particularly useful. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t know anything about reaction time, updates, support FreeSync/G-Sync and other, important from the point of view of the players performance.

Samsung will present at CES is also already present in the market monitors CFG70 and CF791, and also promised several new models for fans of high resolution, including a 28-inch UH750 with a 4K panel, working with the technology of quantum dots and a response time of 1 MS and a flat SH850 with a WQHD display with high contrast and stand offer many possibilities for adjustment (available in a size of 23.8 and 27 inches).

All we learn of the details next week.
