Interesting findings come from Mars, but they do not solve the greatest mystery yet this planet – Politics

For several days, NASA reported that on September 28 at its headquarters in Washington, DC held a special conference with the participation of important scientists working for the agency, which will be revealed when the new sensational facts about the exploration of Mars. In reports on the subject even used to formulate the final solving the puzzle of Mars. All those who are interested in space exploration, counting hours to the event, thinking that NASA researchers have discovered a significant revelation, and therefore water, possibly traces of former Martian life, not to mention living Martian organisms. It has been speculated that it was probably for water, which is in a liquid state actually discovered somewhere on the Red Planet.

It turned out that the revelations of NASA are not up to such revelations, as heralded announcements of conferences and actually confirmed the finding in several places of Mars , mainly on the slopes of craters (Hale and Garni) long repeatable falling streaks of dark color, carved probably by streams of water.

Such places that have been shaped by water on Mars was found earlier have much revelation, however, lies in that the currently detected traces of fresh where water seasonally still fluid. This is shown by research done by the spectrometer Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, which in dark craters of falling streaks failed to detect traces of hydrated minerals, mainly calcium salts and perchlorate. So this is a significant discovery because it found places where Martian water most likely still flowing.

The only water in a liquid state is not found. This is because it appears only in the warm periods when the temperature of the surface in these areas of the planet does not fall below minus 23 degrees Celsius. When it gets colder, the water disappears. Why is it that even in these warmer periods, the water does not freeze? But there is still far below zero. Because it is, it contains numerous minerals, including salt, and that – as is known – to the water does not freeze even in severe frost.

For the record, these traces formed and carved by flowing salt water was found already approx. 10 years ago. It has been suggested that they are specific to the aqueous medium, but only recently has spectroscopically detected in their hydrated minerals. This tells researchers from NASA assumed that water on Mars in some places still fluid. Perhaps now, these places will be closely watched in the hope that when it gets warmer, we will see Mars finally trickles of water flowing down the crater.

But to discover the mystery of Mars but is still probably still far away. It is known that Mars was once – billions of years ago – a dynamic planet, rich in water and had a thick atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to low gravity and lack their own magnetic field, the atmosphere is floated into outer space, and behind her also almost all of the water. She had quite a lot in the form of ice, mostly in the icy caps of poles, as well as traces in a very rarefied atmospheric residue. Of course, if the water is still somewhere in the recesses of Mars liquid, it would be worth it to obtain and examine thoroughly. It is because that without the water in the liquid state rather no life.

In addition, the water-ice in the solar system is very widespread. There is also, probably, and it is in a liquid state, the faces of some of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. With water as well, namely water ice make up all comets and many asteroids. Water ice occurs even on Mercury and the Moon. Water alone is therefore not something rare in the cosmos. Unfortunately, nowhere, beyond the Earth – and perhaps Mars – does not exist in a liquid state on the surface.

Reports coming from NASA should therefore be considered interesting, but they do not solve even the greatest mystery of Mars, in which the question refers whether on a planet that was created sometime life. It seems that you will have to go there in the end to that question finally answered.
