α7S II – a new full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera from Sony for 3400 euros (video) – wirtualnemedia.pl

Sony α7S II offers a wide sensitivity range – from ISO 50 to ISO 409 600. This is the result of combining a full frame 12.2-megapixel sensor with BIONZ image processor X. Image Sensor optimizes dynamic range available in the entire ISO sensitivity range, expanding the scale gradation in bright places and reduces noise in low light.

The camera allows internal video recording 4K (QFHD: 3840 x 2160) format XAVC S (for shooting movies in this format is required SDXC Memory Card Class 10 or higher). All pixels are read without joining the group also when recording Full HD video format (24p / 30p). This means that the generation of Full HD (1920 x 1080) used five times more pixels than the required minimum.

Model α7S II as the first in a series α7 allows you to record video at a rate of 120 frames / sec. at rates of 100 Mb / s (required to have a memory card UHS Class 3), reading all the pixels full frame without connecting them into groups. The resulting material can then be played in 4/5-fold slow motion (30p (25p) and 24p), Full HD. You can also internally record material to be displayed in 4/5-fold slow motion and play it on the built-in screen.

Functionality for shooting exacerbated by new profiles: S-Gamut3.Cine / S-Log3 and S-Gamut3 / S -Log3. When you select the S-Log3 gamma camera has a tolerance of exposure which is equivalent to 14 f-stops. The device also supports a color space Gamut S-curve and S-Log2. What is new is the Display Gamma Assist function, which allows the user to view and check the image while recording using the S-Log curve. Improved moreover, the function of the Zebra.

α7S II is also equipped with a 5-way image stabilization system, which during the shooting corrects various camera movements: angular (tilt and deviation), side (along the X-axis and Y) and rotary (tilt).

AF system in the camera creates a 169 AF, which combined to provide more accurate high-speed AF than in the model α7S. The possibility of the image sensor are reflected in, among others, the lack of noise generated image. Consequently, Fast Intelligent AF system is easier to detect contrasts and also respond more quickly in low light (-4 EV upwards). On the other hand, while recording Full HD video AF system runs two times faster than in α7S.

The modernized viewfinder XGA OLED Tru-Finder allows you to get the magnification factor 0,78x (field of view approx. 38.5 ° diagonal). The effective elimination of reflections are the result of the Zeiss T coating Electronic Viewfinder OLED Tru-Finder can also be used to verify, as on the resulting image affects exposure compensation, change the white balance settings, etc.

To complete body model was used α7S II magnesium alloy. The newly designed handle and the shutter button weakened vibration shutter and lens mount socket strengthened. Charging the battery via USB is also possible during operation of the camera. You can also enable mode of silent pictures and do them serially at a rate of 5 frames per second.

In addition, the camera α7S II has been equipped with Wi-Fi technology and NFC, and to support all the functions you can use applications like Sony PlayMemories Mobile available in a version for Android and iOS.

Camera Sony α7S II will appear in Europe in November 2015. at a cost of approx. 3,400 euros.
