Poznań company created a technologically advanced smart watch that will help people and improve the condition of the floating figure. Now move on Kickstarter to raise funds for mass production.
The site Kickstarter campaign was launched Swimmo, SmartWatch swimming and personal trainer of Polish origin. Designed for continuous operation under water, smart watch Swimmo breaks through previous barriers to effective monitoring of the training and progress of the pool. It is designed for people who want to improve your condition and interested in improving body. For the purpose of the collection creators received EUR 39 000 dollars. – There are many applications and assistive devices in training people running or driving on a bicycle. Otherwise, the situation is however in the case of swimming. There is no market solution to monitor the activity of the pool and improve your results. We experienced it ourselves and decided to change it. Thus was born the idea for Swimmo, SmartWatch defeated all the challenges of water throwing electronics. This device, which effectively helps in training, allows you to build fitness and develop muscle strength. We have equipped it in a number of original technologies, such as control by two gestures Rotate & amp; Tap, waterproof sensor pulse or technologies IntensityCoach and PaceKeeper, in order to adapt the speed of swimming to the actual purpose of the training – says Matthew Heleniak, CEO Swimmo Trainer Inc.
Swimmo uses an innovative sensor allows reading of the pulse at the wrist with water immediately. On the basis of data on user activity can watch him pass information of a “release”, “Tempo”, or “speed up” (IntensityCoach technologies and PaceKeeper). During the training, the device communicates with the user through a variable frequency vibration.

Swimmo is very intuitive device. For the operation of all functions is provided by the Rotate & amp; Tap, using two simple hand gestures: turning the wrist (selecting from the menu), and touch display (approval). The watch is equipped with energy-efficient Bluetooth 4.0 module to communicate with an application for smartphones running on Android and iOS systems. Device interface is displayed on the touch OLED color screen adapted for underwater use.
Swimmo created from high quality materials. Headband with modern polymer material is pleasant to the touch, hypoallergenic and does not cause chafing. The envelope also watch is designed to eliminate the possibility of scratches.
Swimmo is expected to support the project in October of 2015. It will be available with a buckle for charging.
