The new display is made with IGZO, wherein the construction of the matrix are used indium oxide, gallium and zinc. According to the manufacturer the new solution ensures that the panel is lighter than the standard, also takes less energy and more than a touch-sensitive screens currently used by the manufacturers of the cell.
Sharp announces that a new panel has a resolution of up to 2160×3840 pixels at 806 ppi density. Sharp provides that announced the display will be equipped smartphones in 2016.
But before that, the market may see an advanced screen from another manufacturer. According to unofficial information shows that the company planned smartphone Samsung Samsung Galaxy Note 5 wants to mount the Super AMOLED display with a resolution the same as the one announced by Sharp.
