Google changes the display URLs in the mobile … – PCLab.pl

Google is constantly updating their services so as best adapted to the needs of a changing market. Of course, this also applies to the most popular Internet search engine, which recently went through a mobile version inconspicuous but significant modifications. This time the company from Mountain View, change the display of web addresses on the list of search results, thereby updating Breadcrumbs navigation technology.

It is called navigation crumbs and is shown to the user’s current position in the programs or documents, for the entire journey. The name of this term, of course, refers to the fairy tale of Hansel and Małogosi who marked the bread crumbs your route. Google recently decided to change the previously used method of presentation, which is intended to facilitate navigation less advanced users.

Example made available on the company’s official blog perfectly shows what’s going on. So far, addresses of the parties appear in the search results could look like this: www.google.com/about/company/history. Recently, the same address is presented as a Google & gt; About & gt; Company & gt; History, which is more clearly show the location of the page. It seems that the more experienced users only facilitate this type will interfere, but those with less technical knowledge should be given a recent change to your taste. For now, the full URL abandoned only in the mobile version of Google, but soon these changes may also include a desktop search option.
