And how often do you change your password?
As you would expect the results did not feel ‘too optimistic. Only 38% of respondents creates a strong new passwords for each account, while one in seven (14%) have only one password for all (which greatly increases the risk of hack multiple accounts at the same time). The situation is further complicated by the fact that one in 10 users invents a password of less than eight characters, while 12% is not trying to make their passwords are harder to guess by using eg. Uppercase letters, a combination of numbers and letters, punctuation marks, and other similar tricks.
The problem is also home to our credentials. More than half (57%) of respondents admitted that she wrote down their passwords on a piece of paper, on the phone, in text files on your computer or browser. And when the browser will offer to save your login and password, one-third (36%) agree on this. As many as 27% of users explains this behavior that we do not store any sensitive information on their computers.
