Yesterday in Warsaw, Poland hosted the first conference of the American giant e-commerce – Amazon. The company presented its portfolio of devices and boasted Amazon Echo – virtual assistant, over which runs the Amazon Technology Development Center in Gdansk.

 

 

on the Warsaw stage, there were many devices, but the main point of the program was to Amazon Echo – virtual assistant, which in this case speaks to us female voice. This device, unlike smartphones or tablets, do not require a traditional touch operation. Everything is done by using voice commands. Just ask about the route and the weather forecast, and Echo immediately find an answer to our question and give her voice Alexa.

Echo is integrated with cloud-based solutions, Amazon Web Services, which is why gadget learns our habits and preferences, making daily communication will be getting better. Using the Echo can also listen to music, learn the latest news or even dim the lights in the house. The biggest advantage is casual communication – devices do not need to touch and talk with him as with members of the household.

At the conference there were also other devices, which is known to Amazon. Speech is all about e-book reader Kindle, model Voyage at the helm. The gadget has a 6-inch display with a good pixel density of 300 ppi. There was also mention of tablets with the Kindle Fire family and a device for streaming media – Fire TV.

Well, what of it? Today, basically nothing. The above-mentioned equipment still can not officially buy in Polish and should be bringing with overseas stores Amazon. This raises the question of why the US giant organized a general conference? Probably wants to examine the Polish market and familiarize local consumers in its portfolio.
