At IFA 2015, LG presents an expanded line of OLED TVs, including the world’s first OLED TV 4K function HDR
The next week at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, the company LG Electronics , manufacturer of the world’s first OLED TV 4K, will present four new models of OLED TVs. These will include 65- and 55-inch OLED TVs feature 4K dynamic adjustment of dynamic range HDR (models 65 / 55EF9500 and 55EG9200), and OLED TV with a curved screen (model 55EG9100). EF9500 TVs are equipped with the industry’s first flat matrix OLED 4K resolution, while 55EG9200 and 55EG9100 models are distinguished by a slender design that is at its thinnest point 4.8 mm. By introducing an expanded offer OLED TVs – including nine models with matrices of different resolutions and different versions of design.
Developed by LG, the best in the industry OLED matrix in which each individual pixel shines with its own light, it allows for an unprecedented level of contrast and brightness control each pixel separately. Thus, the matrix OLED is suitable to display HDR content, or images with a wide tonal range, comparable to the range visible to the human eye. HDR images displayed on the OLED TVs have a higher brightness, contrast and saturation of colors, so you have an even stronger and full of visual realism. Moreover, OLED TVs can produce brightness range needed to display the HDR image with less luminance peak values. The HDR is not the only improvement introduced in the latest TVs from LG. LG OLED TV amaze almost invisible box, designed according to the concept art Slim and slender housing, which in the case of models EG9200 and EG9100, although initially hard to believe, is thinner than most smartphones. Shimmering, transparent base helps to focus the audience’s attention on the screen, so that the image provides even stronger impressions. All TVs LG OLED 4K are equipped with the operating system webOS 2.0 which is the latest version developed LG platform for the smart function. Due to the improved user interface and advanced features, the system webOS 2.0 makes handling the TV becomes easier and more intuitive. In addition, the strengths of the system webOS 2.0 are shorter start-up time and a menu Launch Bar, providing users with even easier access to your favorite content.
The new OLED TVs 4K LG will be launched in Korea, USA, UK and Germany at the end of August, and in the next few months will go on sale in other countries.
