The Meteors seem to be running out of the constellation Perseus, hence their name – the Perseids . This should look out for in the northeastern part of the sky. The greatest concentration of events falls in the second half of the night.

Most meteors can be seen when the Earth collides with a plume of gas and dust left by a comet.
