                             Hejt flooding the network. With hejtem, or malicious, rude, unjust, often vulgar criticism and insults, you meet the majority of internet users.
                         

Chief Police spokesman Mariusz Sokolowski stresses that more and more often the police are reported hate crimes related to the network. – Very often exhausts is a crime that is stalking, which is what is associated with persistent harassment, sometimes they are even threatening, sometimes insulting – explains Mariusz Sokolowski. He adds that the police protect the specific pages and media to be able to present evidence in court. Virtual hatred is directed not only toward politicians, celebrities, journalists, bloggers, public figures, but also ordinary users.

Research shows that 40 percent of high school students declare that meets with hejtem in the network – says Lukasz Wojtasik from the Nobody’s Children Foundation. The expert adds that it is particularly dangerous is bringing together hejt. We are talking then about cyberbullying, when a young man is attacked by others, especially peers and negatively assessed primarily by its appearance or abilities. – Young people are viewing in the eyes of their peers in the network was and if these opinions are negative, it is a problem – says Lukasz Wojtasik.

The Chairman of the National Council of Radio and Television, Jan Dworak also draws attention to other dangerous phenomenon – the deliberate and controlled hejtowania, for example competition. “You can hire a company that will or someone you liked or did not like, and gave expression to by hundreds or even thousands of anonymous entries” – explains Jan Dworak.

Professor Margaret Fuszara admits that hejt on the Internet is a problem that the state is not yet fully himself poradziło. Government Plenipotentiary for the Equal Treatment emphasizes that prosecutors happens in some cases react and intervene in obvious cases, particularly racial hatred, adds, however, that the monitoring network is very difficult. – Appropriate are at the beginning of the road, because we are not yet accustomed to regulate the electronic media, but we should take care of it, because it’s a big problem – concludes Professor Fuszara.

Anna Tatar from the Association Never Again emphasizes that in the fight of hate speech in the network it must be massive operation of Internet users and the state. Activist argues that with today’s technology track the perpetrators is not a problem. He is glad, too, that an increasing number of cases reported and convictions. – We regard this as a positive signal that the social sense of impunity among Internet users will be getting lower, that will disappear a shoe that I could write everything and nobody will do anything to me – says Anna Tatar.

Another form of combat hate on the Web is education, strongly promoted today in the West. Its aim is to educate young people the dangers of the Internet and hate speech hejtu.
