Oculus presents the final version of their goggles – Virtual Poland

  During the Thursday press conference Oculus VR unveiled the final version for the consumer market Rift goggles. There was nothing in their appearance does not change, and that this version will go on sale early next year.

And indeed Oculus, who had plenty of time to refine your equipment, decided to offload its front part, so they will be more convenient to use.  During the conference, the creator of Oculus also spent some time OLED screens used by the device. Praised, among others, the use of innovative solutions that will reduce delay and improve the brightness of the screens. All this of course has translated into usability of the goggles.
 

 During the conference also we learned about gadgets that will be sold with the device. These are mainly special headphone to provide surround sound. These are adapted to cooperate with VR goggles oculus Rift but are not integrated with them. As a result, users will be able to exchange them for any other devices. Another addition, which will be included in the kit will pad for games with Xbox One. It is one of the results of the agreement between the Oculus VR and Microsoft. Another is the introduction of support for games was with this console and machines working under Windows 10 (thanks to DirectX 12).

At the end of the conference presented Oculus Oculus Touch, set of two controllers, one for each hand, which combine traditional buttons and analog sticks with the possibility of tracking in infrared.
