  Reduced Emission Zones were created, in 250 locations in Europe
 
 
 

Poland threatens EU penalties for the most polluted air in Europe, hence this initiative. In the West, first introduced Congestion Charge Zone to downtown, then Reduced Emission Zone already created in 250 locations in Europe.

Free entry are there only car with a sticker indicating that they meet emission standards (Euro 3, 4 or 5). The label – which was issued by the vehicle inspection stations – cost 5 euros. The penalty for the lack of it, eg. In Berlin 40 euros plus a penalty goal.
