Asus ROG Matrix GTX 980 Boost mode is clocked at 1342 MHz row, that is 126 MHz faster than the reference structures. With 4 GB of onboard GDDR5 memory card supports high resolutions, including 4K / UHD (4096 x 2160).
The card offers designed for overclockers Defroster Memory technology, which allows you to defrost during overclocking memory at temperatures below zero. There is also the possibility of installing a cooling system with liquid nitrogen (LN2). Additionally, Safe Mode mode supports the safety when overclocking – one button to restore the default BIOS settings.
ROG Matrix GTX 980 also has a 14-phase voltage regulation module Digi + with Super Alloy Power technology and high quality Japanese capacitors 10k black- metallic and transistors.
On the other hand, are responsible for heat elimination DirectCU II technology and Cooltech. DirectCU II is designed by Asus cooling system using a 10-mm thick copper heat pipes that are in direct contact with the GPU.
