Facebook is working on the function “do not like” – Pulse of Business

The founder and president of the most popular social networking site in the world admitted that the “dislike” of users is one of the most desirable features on the website. So Facebook is looking for a solution that will allow expressing disapproval of certain posts.

Facebook is commonly associated with the “I like it”, by which users refer to content published by others. The button is problematic because, although clicking “Like” can mean appreciation of the quality of the published material or solidarity in a difficult situation, many people feel uncomfortable “liking” for example, information about the tragic events.

Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook receives user reports of such dilemmas, and is working to offer Internet users the ability to express a wider range of emotions.

Facebook recorded each day 4.5 billion clicks on “I like it.” BBC points out that the function is sometimes criticized for that, thanks to the website collects a lot of data on the habits of users.
