Acer has just introduced to the Polish market with its first Chromebooks offer: Chromebook Chromebook 11 and 13 – the device are running Chrome OS, and are characterized by a long battery life. Customers may choose from several types depending on the resolution of the screen, processor, and memory (both RAM and internal memory). Equipment prices range from 999 to 1399 zł zł.
Acer Chromebook 13
A large, 13.3-inch Acer Chromebook 13 will be available in two versions. Version with display Full HD delivers up to 11.5 hours of battery life, while models with a resolution of 1366×768 provide battery life up to 13 hours. Both screens are equipped with Anti-Glare panels ComfyView Acer , minimize light reflections that cause eyestrain. In addition, the display Acer Chromebook 13 is characterized by excellent color reproduction and contrast, and large format allows you to accommodate a comfortable keyboard.
Designed for mobility, Acer Chromebook 13 has a thin and lightweight design with a thickness of 1.7 cm and a weight of 1.5 kg. The model connects to the network using a Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard, which guarantees the speed up to three times faster than 802.11n. Additionally, 2×2 MIMO antenna provides joint stability and high speed data transmission.
Chromebook 13 uses the NVIDIA Tegra K1 4-Plus-1 ™, which integrates fo ur core ARM Cortex A15 CPU and Additional energy saving core to provide up to 13 hours of battery life. K1 has a Tegra GPU based on NVIDIA Kepler architecture with 192 programmable cores GPGPU processing serving a realistic and full details of the graphics.
Acer Chromebook 11
Acer Chromebook 11 is equipped with a screen ComfyView ™ Acer 11.6 “and a resolution of 1366×768. The computing unit is a dual-core Intel® Celeron® Processor N2830 or N2940 Intel® Celeron® quad. Responsible for data storage SSD 16GB or 32GB. Chromebook 11 is 1.8 inches thick and weighs 1.1 kg.
Equipped with 1 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports, SD card reader, HDMI and 3.5mm jack that allows you to connect headphones / speakers and microphone at the same time. Built-in battery provides up to 8.5 hours on a single charge.
Google Drive space and record in HD
Acer Chromebooks run in less than 10 seconds and resume work mode sleep almost immediately.
The new Chrome users also receive a promotion 1TB Google Drive space for the first two years (activation must be made by 31 January 2015.). Acer Chromebooks are now available online and in selected halls Euro.com.pl Media Markt and Saturn.
Chromebook 11 (CB3-111) has a screen size of 11.6 “and costs PLN 999 for a version with an Intel N2840, 2GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD, and PLN 1149 for a version of the processor Intel N2940, 4GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD.
Chromebook 13 (CB5-311) has a screen size of 13.3 “and costs PLN 1199 for a version with the Tegra processor K1 570M 2GB of RAM and 16 GB SSD and PLN 1399 for a version with Tegra K1 570M processor, 4GB of RAM and 32 GB SSD.
In the first quarter of 2015 will also be selling models with Full HD screens.
