The best in the world. Students from Wroclaw will explore the moon – Newsweek Poland

This is a great success of young engineers. Thanks to their solutions astronauts get to the space station, and from there they will conduct research on the lunar surface.

Project exploration of the Moon – HECATE – developed, among others, Students Wroclaw University of Technology won the prestigious ESA Moon Challenge, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA). The aim of the competition was to design solutions that astronauts get to the space station, and from there they will conduct research on the lunar surface using advanced technology.

The project HECATE involves sending several rockets into space, which then combine to form a station beyond the orbit of the Moon. Inside it it is to operate the four astronauts who will spend hundreds of days there. They will operate four rover Martian sent to the moon two landers.
