Optimized web browser for Samsung Gear VR – Media2.pl

Samsung introduces Samsung Internet for Gear VR – virtual reality service combined with the extended ecosystem VR content. The new application allows users to intuitively browse the web in a way that enhances the feeling of immersion in the image.

With the Web browser of Samsung, working in virtual reality, users have direct access to a variety of content while browsing web pages. The application supports broadcasts in a format 360-degrees and 3D, as well as HTML5 video from the Internet, deepening the feeling of total immersion in the image being viewed.
Entering text in the Internet browser for Gear VR is easy and intuitive thanks to speech recognition and thanks to the keyboard screen. In gazing mode the user can select items eyes without moving your fingers. The application can also import bookmarks from the mobile browser of Samsung Internet for Android and offers practical features like Quick Access (high speed), Bookmarks (bookmarks) and Tab Manager (card management), operating similarly to other popular browsers.

beta version of Samsung Internet browser for Gear VR will be available for download from Oculus Store as of 2 December. The application supports, among others, following the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Galaxy, the Galaxy S6 Edge +, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note5 4 of Gear VR.
