Company Olympus has unveiled a new model with a rugged camera Tough series. Digital camera carries the designation TG-4 and is equipped with, among others, in a clear lens with f / 2.0 and the range of 25-100 mm and a matrix with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
As for the racial “tough guy” befits the Olympus Tough TG-4 can withstand falls from heights 2.1 meters, it is resistant to crushing weight of 100 kg, tolerate frosts down to -10 ° C and is resistant to dust. The camera also has water resistance to a depth of 15 m. Divers will be able to take advantage of additional features underwater images HDR, built-in pressure gauge, and convenient to use (even with gloves) programmable mode dial.
The manufacturer also touts the use of the camera’s macro four different modes. The system covers the range of Macro Variable 29 cm (starting from 30 cm, ending 1 cm in front of the lens), and offers options: microscope, microscopic control, focus bracketing and focus stacking. A new microscopic mode flash synchronization at slower shutter speeds, which improves contrast and prevents hotspots, when the subject is close to the lens.
In other news, the camera can also find: RAW support, and AF area which allows you to control the focus in a specific area of a scene. There were also the GPS feature Wi-Fi connectivity and geotrackingu.
Tough TG-4 will be available in May 2015, in black and red.
