Asus unveiled a new ultrabook – Pro model Zenbook UX501. It has a strong technical specification, including 15-inch 4K and a GeForce GTX 960M.
UX501 has a 15.6-inch screen running at a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels (standard model), or 3860 to 2160 pixels (extended version). The display can be a touch or not. Heart ultrabook is Intel Core i7-4720HQ supported by 8 GB of RAM. On board you will find also the fastest SSD in the world, based on the interface x4 PCIe Gen 2.0 with a maximum capacity of 512 GB. It is up to 16 times faster than standard hard drives for data transmission 6 Gbit / s.
new ultrabook is a good choice for business users who like to occasionally play something. This is evidenced dedicated graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M with up to 4 GB of dedicated memory. On board will also find a battery with a capacity of 96 Wh, which will allow for a good 6 hours of operating time and a full set of communication ports (3x USB 3.0, 1x Thunderbolt).
The new Asus ultrabook has an aluminum housing, made in accordance with the philosophy of the Zenbook series. It has a 20.6 mm thick and weighs 2.06 kilograms computer (version without touchscreen).
Price and availability on the Polish market are not yet known.
