Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemjew and American astronaut Steve Swanson returned to Earth on Thursday after a nearly six-month stay on the International Space Station (ISS).
ship carrying their Soyuz TMA-12M landed at 4.23 am Polish time about 150 kilometers southeast of the city Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan – informed the mission control center near Moscow in Korolowie.
ISS left three people – the current commander of the station, the Russian Maksim Surajew, American Reid Wiseman and German Alexander Gerst. At the end of September the ship Soyuz arrives there another three-person team, including Jelena Serov, who set off into space as the fourth only Russian.
