Juno Jupiter – Sunday Visitor

Monday morning July 4th wife met her husband. Specifically Juno, the US space probe, was heard to Jupiter. What does this have to do with marriage?

Juno in Roman mythology, was the wife of Jupiter, the god of the sky, storm and rain. She was the guardian of women and motherhood. After 5 years of flight, July 4, Juno, and actually Juno, the American space probe entered orbit around Jupiter. After a year of observations and measurements of the probe will begin to approach the planet, and eventually burn up in the dense atmosphere.

Meeting with giant

Whether the maneuver input jupiter orbit on he went, we learned after almost 50 minutes, because so much time is needed for it to radio signal defeat the way between Jupiter and Earth. It was the longest 50 minutes (or more precisely 48.5 minutes) in the lives of designers and engineers Juno mission. They expected to confirm the success of the programmed maneuver at the headquarters of NASA.
