What archaeologists from the GCM found at the bottom of the lake? – News

The team of underwater archaeologists from the GCM under the direction of Dr. hab. Andrew Pydyna discovered the flooded village located in what is now Lake Gil Grand.

Research archaeologists Iława Lake District are the result of cooperation with the Warsaw branch of the Polish Scientific Association of Archaeologists. Scientists scour Lake selected using scanning sonar and side scan sonar, which allows them to create detailed maps of bathymetry and the location of potential anomalies in the bottom of the tested waters.
