Edvard and dent Britt Moser is the fifth awarded the Nobel Prize married. May-Britt is the 11th woman to receive this award in the field of medicine.
Prof. Edvard Moser is 52 years old, was born in 1962. Alesund in Norway. His wife, May-Britt is a year younger, was born in Fosnavang in 1963. Both are graduates of the University of Oslo, and studied many disciplines, particularly mathematics, statistics, programming, neurobiology and psychology. At this university received double doctorates in 1995. Neuroscience and neurophysiology, and held an internship at universities in the UK – the longest at the University of Edinburgh.
