Ghost Recon Phantom debuted in 2012 and was one of many well-known brands Ubisoft, transferred to the F2P model. Success, according to an official statement, was not, unfortunately, as large as the company had hoped.

In an official FAQ-from Ubisoft also stated that it is very unlikely that the company created a successor to Phantom Ghost Recon.
