Northern lights – what is it? Auroras are seen mainly podbiegunowymi wheels, sometimes are visible even in the vicinity of the fiftieth parallel. Aurora is a phenomenon of light that can be observed in the upper atmosphere near the magnetic poles of the planet. How is the aurora borealis? This is due to current flow in the ionosphere at an altitude of about 100 km above the Earth’s surface. Where in March we could see an aurora in Poland? Suwalki, Lomza, and even near Wrocław or Lesser – in those places in Poland on the night of 17 on March 18 could see this beautiful phenomenon, which is the aurora borealis. For fans of such phenomena is worth noting that the last time the aurora borealis in Poland could zaobserować in 2004. Therefore one who saw the aurora this year, is a real lucky.
