Google I / O 2014 June announced a plan to introduce Android One program. It envisages the creation of affordable and well-equipped smartphones, which will provide support for software search engine giant. Now for the specifics.

Google today officially presented the first of a series of Android smartphones One. As previously announced, the manufacturers are companies Micromax, Spice and Karbonn. Individual smartphones do not differ essentially a hardware specification. Each of them has in fact 4.5-inch screen with a resolution FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) and is based on a quad-core system MediaTek, which has a Cortex-A7 cores clocked to 1.3 GHz and is supported by 1 GB of RAM.

One Android Smartphones also offer support for two SIM cards and have a 3G modules. 4 GB built-in memory can be expanded using microSD memory cards. Google also took care of the presence of FM radio. The equipment uses the Android 4.4 KitKat, which has been enriched with improved support for Hindi language. One Android smartphones are expected to cost about $ 105, which seems seems more than fair price for the equipment of such specifications.

New Project Google first launched in India. They finally the second largest mobile market where smartphones penetration is still quite low. Soon availability of models Android One is to be extended, however. Because a giant announced new partners, which include Alcatel OneTouch, Acer, Asus, Intex, Lava, Lenovo and even HTC. Sundar Pichai added to the fact that under the Android One will be offered the equipment for systems Qualcomm.

Looking at the list of new partners is not surprising that Google’s project is soon to zagościć in other countries of South Asia and South-East Asia. These will include Indonesia and Bangladesh. Is there a chance that Android One will finally also on the Polish market? I think so, but rather there is nothing to expect to occur too quickly.
