Samsung Electronics introduces the Samsung Internet for Gear VR – the latest service virtual reality coupled with the extended ecosystem of content created with the aim of virtual reality. The application allows users intuitive Internet, and use of digital content in a way that enhances the feeling of immersion in the image without saving downloaded content in the smartphone memory.
Thanks to the Samsung web browser, operating in virtual reality, users have direct access to a variety of content while browsing web pages. The application supports broadcasts in a format 360-degrees and 3D, as well as HTML5 video from the Internet, deepening the feeling of total immersion in watched the image.
Entering text in the Internet browser for Gear VR is easy and intuitive thanks to speech recognition and through on-screen keyboard. In gazing mode the user can select items eyes without moving your fingers. The application can also import bookmarks from the mobile browser of Samsung Internet for Android and offers features like Quick Access (high speed), Bookmarks (bookmarks) and Tab Manager (card management), operating similarly to other popular browsers.

The beta version of the Samsung Internet browser for Gear VR will be available for download from Oculus Store as of 2 December. The application supports, among others, following the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Galaxy, the Galaxy S6 Edge +, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note5 4 of Gear VR
